Notes: Vintage Little Golden Book first (A) printing. Child's name penned on inside front cover. Some breakage on inside front cover on hinge, but cover is still securely fastened. Someone neatly put two quarter-sized Reader's Digest stickers on title page. Pages are age toned with small tears on bottom edges. "A" printing mark on bottom right corner of last page. Cover has moderate surface and corner wear. Small split on the foil binding - back bottom edge. Clearly used, but in relatively good condition for a 1940s-era children's book.
