Notes: Early edition of this comprehensive volume covering the use of electricity in industry. Text is in German, typeset in a Blackletter/Fraktur font. Filled with 824 illustrations and diagrams, it's a fascinating book even if you can't read the text, illustrating power plants, dynamos, light fixtures, electricity in train cars, etc. There are fold-out diagrams and illustrations as well. Text has some spotting mostly on the fold-outs, but is generally clean and in remarkably good condition for its age. Cover graphics are crisp and multi-colored on a grey cloth background. Spine shows a bit more wear. These is some spotting on the back cover. There's a 1" split at top front outside hinge. Binding is solid. Heavy hardcover.
