Notes: July 1966 fourth printing of the true 1961 first edition. SIGNED by author below his name on title page. This copy has solid gold-colored endpapers; looks like a sticker might have been on the front free endpaper and a small bit of it remains. No writing or marks found in text. Light foxing (spotting) on top of closed page edges. Cover is tan faux leather with embossed title on front and spine, with a cowboy on horseback with a gun raised over his head on lower front corner. Cover shows definite wear; corners are square but top front corner has had a light bump from top edge. Small bump on back fore edge. Cover is soiled front and back; back cover has a series of lines on the back that look like some color was transferred from another item it once laid upon. Binding is tight and square; wear to spine ends. Still an excellent reference in spite of the cosmetic flaws. Oversize hardcover. We are unable to ship this internationally.
