Notes: READING COPY; PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION: Well-used copy with multiple flaws: bump to bottom corner of text block, leaving a faint bend mark in the corners of some pages; bumps to cover corners, front cover fore edge, back cover surface, and significant bump to middle of spine edge next to front cover. Front and back hinges are starting to split, but binding seems solid. Edge of closed book fell victim to a nearby spill that left a lightly stained area down the middle side. Jacket has chips and tears at all corners, as well as surface wear. Overall, not pretty. The good news: text surfaces are clean and unmarked. In spite of the flaws to the outside of the book, it's still an excellent resource. Unabridged Fourth Edition.
