Notes: 1st edition/1st printing, dated 1921 on title page as well as copyright page. No statement of later printings. Ex-church library copy that appears to have seen little use. Pocket affixed to front free end paper. Church name stamped on bottom of copyright page. No other writing or marks found in text. Front hinge is starting to split at bottom; split starting in index between pages 532 and 533. Gilt page edges at top are dulled from age. Cover corners are square with light wear at tips; spine ends show some wear. Remnants of a library sticker on spine. Cover surface shows light wear and faint spotting, but gilt title is crisp and bright. In very good condition for its 90+ years, and still considered an important work chronicling the history of Minnesota. Volume 1 only of 4.
